96% of the enamel is made of mineral components, which protect the teeth. These valuable elements inhibit the harmful effects of acids and bacteria on the teeth. Thanks to their properties, they help maintain a healthy and beautiful smile. However, it happens that the long-term effects of acids and sugars on the enamel deprive it of valuable minerals. Calcium and phosphorus are gradually rinsed out, which significantly weakens the teeth and causes hypersensitivity to hot and cold food. As a result of demineralisation, the teeth lose their natural protection, which enables the rapid development of caries. Tricalcium phosphate (TCP) is a smart raw material that ensures the bioavailability of calcium ions and phosphates for the teeth, producing a significant remineralisation effect. It works synergistically with fluoride to enable high bioavailability of fluorides in the oral cavity. The combination of TCP with a fluorine compound allows for achievement of better results in terms of enamel strengthening and remineralisation than if these substances were used separately.
